City of Milford, CT - Environmental Health Division

The Environmental Health Division works to preserve and promote the health of the public and the physical environment. We investigate environmental health problems and health hazards that affect the community and are empowered to enforce regulations and laws that protect the health and ensure the safety of Milford residents. The Environmental Health Division inspects restaurants, monitors beach water quality, and provides a wealth of other services to support individual and community environmental health efforts. This great responsibility is carried out through collaborative efforts on the Federal, State and Local levels.
