Along with my staff I would like to welcome you to the Milford Recreation Department Web site. Here you can access our brochure where you will find an alphabetical listing of the many programs, activities, clubs, organizations and recreation facilities our city has to offer. These include but are not limited to 19 neighborhood playgrounds, 24 baseball/softball fields, 8 parks, 10 multi-purpose soccer/football facilities, and 25 tennis courts located throughout the city. Situated on Long Island Sound we offer an extensive waterfront program that includes five guarded public beaches, Silver Sands State Park and two public swimming pools.
The Milford Recreation Department has a dedicated staff of recreation professionals and seasonal employees who are committed to “Building a Community through People, Parks, and Programs.” And remember:
