Fees to record Land Record Documents are $43.00 for the first page plus $5.00 for each subsequent page of the same document. (Limit 8-1/2” x 14”)
Warranty and Quit Claim Deeds requiring CT commissioner of Revenue Tax forms are $2.00 additional (except deeds for under $2,000 or no consideration)
Assignment of Mortgage listing; subsequent to first two (each) $1.00
Penalty fee for no address $5.00
Penalty fee for no typed name/signature line $1.00
State Tax Conveyance-- .005 x sales price for Residential property & unimproved land
.005 x 1st $800,000 & .01 x all above $800,000 for Residential dwelling over $800,000
.01 x sales price for Non-residential (except unimproved land)
Commissioner of Revenue divided by .005=selling price
Conveyance divided by .0025=selling price
Local Conveyance Tax .0025 x sales price
Copies of Land Record Documents $1.00 per page (Debit Cards can be purchased for $10, $20 & $50 denominations) or use your one dollar bills (the City Clerk office cannot make change)
