On March 15th, 2008 at 0011 hours, The Milford Police Department received a report of a serious injury motor vehicle accident near 74 Woodmont Road. A preliminary investigation indicates that veh#2, a 2007 International truck operated by John Francis Sheehan (DOB 6-10-71) of Cromwell, was pulling out of a private driveway at 74 Woodmont Road and continuing southbound on Woodmont Road when it was struck by veh#1, a 2006 Saab which was operated by Peter Abbagnaro (DOB 2-11-65) of Milford, and traveling northbound on Woodmont Road. The operator of the 2006 Saab sustained life
threatening injuries and was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment. The driver of the 2007 International truck claimed no injuries. The investigation by Officer Demirjian is continuing.
