police working a private duty assignment at the pilot travel center observed a large crowd gathering and requested additional resources for crowd control. at 0220 hours, a disturbance involving 5 males broke out in wendy’s. the 5 males were escorted out and requested to leave the PREMISES. the disturbance CONTINUED in the parking lot near the fuel pumps. blanco and triana became aggressive towards officers in the parking lot as they walked to their cars. police then observed triana and blanco being held back by another male as they were being AGGRESSIVE towards mccoy-britton who was parked nearby. mccoy-britton OPENED the trunk of this vehicle and was observed by officers pulling out a pistol grip shotgun. the shotgun was directed to the ground in the area of triana and blanco.
mccoy-britton INITIALLY failed to COMPLY with orders by police officers to drop his weapon. after making eye contact with police and k-9 judge, mccoy-britton put the shotgun back in his trunk.
at that point all 5 individuals in the area were ordered to the ground for police safety. the INDIVIDUALS failed to comply. oc spray was deployed into the crowd in order for police to gain control, and additional resources from west haven, orange and the state police were requested, due to a larger crowd entering the parking lot of APPROXIMATELY 300 people.
the 5 individuals finally complied with police orders and were SUBSEQUENTLY arrested. police SEIZED the shotgun and found it was a mossberg 12 gauge shotgun with two live rounds of AMMUNITION loaded into the magazine tube.

on may 22, 2007, milford police received a complaint of a larceny at the pet company, 1201 boston post road. investigation led to a warrant being issued for johnson who is accused of taking a yorkshire terrier valued at more than $2,000 without paying for it.

while police were arresting a youthful offender for shoplifting at steven & barry. jerrisha nelson and jacqueline wilkes-joyner began yelling and interfering with the shoplifting investigation drawing a crowd to gather. as police were handcuffing nelson, wilkes-joyner attempted to get in between police and nelson. both were arrested for interfering and causing a disturbance.

police received a complaint of a neighbor dispute at a home on hawley avenue. during the investigation police found gill in the apartment of a female companion with whom there is a protective order issued for him to have no contact with . gill was subsequently arrested.
